The Invitation

A 10-Day Spiritual Retreat in Rishikesh, along the Sacred Ganges

You don’t come to India by chance.

One of the most ancient and powerful spiritual lands on the planet, where the Ganges born from the Himalayas meets a millennia-old culture still pulses through temples, rituals, and the eyes of those who live here.

The GIVER retreat guides you into the heart of this land, where its wisdom meets GIVER’s energetic and transformative work — through deep practices, ceremonies, and moments of sharing you will have the opportunity to explore new dimensions of yourself.

Why Rishikesh?

Rishikesh sits where the Ganges leaves the Himalayas and enters the plains – a town that has drawn seekers, yogis and sages for centuries. Temples line the river, the evening Ganga Aarti fills the ghats with fire and chanting, and the whole valley carries a stillness that is hard to find anywhere else.

01

The Yoga Capital of the World

Known worldwide as the yoga capital of the world, Rishikesh is a place where spiritual practice is not an activity but a way of life. Practising here, Kundalini Activation Astral Work, meditation and pranayama (breathwork) meet the land where much of this wisdom was born.

Why March: Pleasant Weather and the International Yoga Festival

The weather is generally mild and pleasant, with comfortable days and refreshing mornings — ideal for meditation, riverside practices, and exploring the surrounding nature. During this time, Rishikesh also hosts the International Yoga Festival, bringing together practitioners and seekers from around the world for a week of yoga, meditation, and spiritual exploration.

Guided practices to access a space of inner stillness, expand awareness, and develop a deeper and clearer perception of oneself.

Traditional Pranayama

Sacred breathwork techniques from the Indian tradition. Each practice guides the awakening of prana — vital energy — progressively opening the body’s energetic channels.

A conscious movement practice from India’s warrior traditions — awakening body awareness, releasing held tension, and building presence and strength.

Kundalini Activation Astral Work Sessions

Experience Kundalini energy awakening through the GIVER® method . Deep sessions to release suppressed energy, deepen sensitivity, and restore inner harmony.

Ganga Aarti Ceremony

An authentic evening ritual on the banks of the Ganga . Fire, Vedic chants, and a millennia-old rhythm that draws you into deep connection and presence.

Kirtan

A devotional chanting practice from the Indian tradition that brings voices and mantras together in a collective experience. A sonic journey that opens the heart and awakens joy, presence, and connection.

Astral Body Healing Session

An experience dedicated to healing the Astral Energy Body, supporting realignment, reconnection to Source, and a natural return to balance, clarity, and centeredness.

Foundations of Ayurveda

An introduction to Ayurveda, the ancient science of life. Understand your constitution, your rhythms, and what nourishes or depletes you. Practical knowledge to carry into everyday life.

Sound Healing with Tibetan Bowls & Mantras

Be enveloped by Tibetan singing bowls and elevated purification mantras . An immersive sound journey of harmony, relaxation, and deep inner nourishment.

Foundations of the GIVER Method

The travel experience carries the GIVER principles: giving without losing yourself, bringing cultures together, and recognising that everything is one. An experience of connection and pure essence, where you are free to express your uniqueness and authentic nature. Every gesture becomes a valuable contribution to something greater than ourselves

Sacred Blue Lotus Ceremony

A ritual of presence and listening through the Blue Lotus infusion — a sacred plant long associated with heart opening and the expansion of consciousness. An experience that invites inner calm, clarity, and a deeper connection with oneself.

Asana

Asana builds presence, rootedness, and strength — grounding the subtler energetic work of the week and returning you to the body itself.

Waterfalls & a Himalayan Sunrise

Asana on the Ganges

Brathwork at the Ganges

    Questions people ask

    Rishikesh Retreat FAQ

Do I need previous experience with energy work or meditation?

No. Sacred Source Retreat is open to complete newcomers and to seasoned practitioners alike. There is nothing to prepare and nothing to prove — only the willingness to arrive and receive. The practices are guided every step of the way.

I’ll be travelling solo. Is it safe — especially for women?

Yes, it is safe. We meet you in Delhi and travel to Rishikesh together; transfers both ways are included. From the moment you land until you fly home you’re part of a small, accompanied group, with Andrea and Giada present throughout. Most of our participants come on their own. Solo travellers and women travelling alone are warmly welcomed.

    How physically demanding is it?

The pace is unhurried and follows the body’s rhythm. Excursions include gentle trekking into the Himalayan foothills and a sunrise climb, and everything can be adapted. You don’t need to be especially fit. Only present.

    What is the accommodation like?

Eight nights in Rishikesh, in accommodation chosen to hold the spirit of the retreat. Three vegetarian meals a day are included.

What about flights and the Indian visa?

International flights and the visa are not included. You fly into Delhi, and we take care of the Delhi ⇄ Rishikesh transfer — leaving 1 November, returning 9 November. You’ll need an Indian tourist visa, straightforward to arrange online at indianvisaonline.gov.in (around USD 25). We recommend one night in Delhi on 31 October, before we leave, and one on 9 November, before your flight home. We’ll point you to the hotel when you apply.

How do I pay, and is there a payment plan?

Once your application is accepted, payment is by bank transfer. You can pay in full, or leave a deposit to hold your place with the balance settled 10 days before departure. Send your application or write to us on WhatsApp and we’ll walk you through the options personally.

What if I’m not a GIVER?

This journey is open to everyone. You don’t need to be part of GIVER® or trained in the method. Only to feel the resonance. Certified GIVERs receive a 10% discount.

What does a typical day look like?

Mornings begin with pranayama, followed by brekfast and the morming’s main session or excursion — such as Kundalini Activation Astral Work, sound healing or somatic movements. After lunch and rest, afternoons bring further practices or excursions or free time for exploring. Evenings bring us together over dinner and offer time to relax, reflect, and integrate.

What is the weather like in Rishikesh in March?

March is dry and clear. Days are warm and sunny, mornings and evenings are cool. Bring layers, a warm top for sunrise and comfortable walking shoes.
    What should I pack?
Light, comfortable clothing you can move and lie down in, a warm layer, a shawl, walking shoes, a refillable water bottle, sun protection and any personal medication. Modest clothing (covered shoulders and knees) is appreciated at temples. Packling suggestion will be provided when applying.
Is Kundalini Activation Astral Work safe?
Yes. Sessions are held by experienced teachers in a grounded, professional container, always with your consent. Nothing is forced — the energy follows your own system. If you have epilepsy, are pregnant, or live with a serious mental-health condition, please tell us in your application so we can talk it through together.

    How big is the group?

Sacred Source welcomes a , selected group to preserve the depth of the experience.

Registration deposit: The deposit paid at the time of registration is non-refundable under all circumstances.
60 days or less before the retreat: No refund will be issued.

Why join a guided retreat instead of travelling to India alone?
