Before your session

How to Prepare for a Kundalini Activation Astral Work Session

There is very little to prepare. That is the honest answer – and most people don’t believe it the first time they hear it.
Preparing for a GIVER® Kundalini Activation session is simple, and that often surprises people. A few straightforward steps will help you arrive feeling comfortable and ready for the experience.

Preparation is not readiness.

You cannot get better at this. There is no technique to learn before you come, no state to reach, and no version of yourself you need to become first.

People arrive from every kind of life moment – tired or inspired, uncertain or curious, carrying questions or simply following a quiet inner call. However they arrive, the work meets them exactly where they are, and only moves as deeply as they are ready to receive.

Preparation is not about becoming ready. It is practical – it removes what might get in the way. A heavy meal. Tight clothing. Rushing in at the last minute. A little extra rest if your body is asking for it. Small things can make it easier for your system to settle, open, and receive.

None of this is a rule. Your intuition already knows more about what your body needs than any list could. Take what resonates, leave what doesn’t. Preparing in the way that feels right for you is the preparation.

The practical part

What to Do Before Your Session

None of what follows is required. They’re practical invitations. Follow what resonates, and let the rest go. The work has never depended on a perfect preparation.

Two or Three Days Before

Let the ground settle.

Nourish your body.

Ease off meat. Lighter meals-pescatarian or, ideally, vegetarian-naturally align with higher frequencies and help your system remain open, clear, and receptive.

Sleep, if you can.

A rested nervous system has more range. If you can’t sleep well, come anyway — this is a suggestion, not a requirement.

Ease off alcohol and recreational substances.

Twenty-four hours is enough. Not for moral reasons. A settled system simply responds more clearly.

Drink more water than usual.

Hydration makes a noticeable difference to how the energy moves and how you feel the day after.

Move gently.

Stretch, walk, swim — nothing strenuous. Light movement keeps the body grounded, helps energy circulate, and makes the days after a session settle more smoothly.

Stop researching.

Watching twenty videos of other people’s sessions builds expectation, and expectation is the one thing that genuinely gets in the way. Your session will not look like theirs.

On the Day of Your Session

Keep it light.

Eat something light two to three hours before.

Not full, not starving. Fruit, soup, something simple. A heavy meal pulls your attention into digestion.

Wear clothes you can lie in for an hour.

Soft, loose, nothing that digs in at the waist. Light, natural colours if you have them — no writing, no prints. You stay fully clothed the whole time. Bring a layer — bodies cool down fast afterwards.

Bring water and socks.

We provide the mat. Feet get cold. A blanket or shawl if you own one you love.

Leave the day outside if you can.

Coming straight from a meeting works. Coming with a little more space works even better.

Skip the heavy caffeine.

One coffee in the morning is fine. Three before you lie down is a different session.

The Last Hour

Arrive before you arrive.

Arrive with presence.

On time, unhurried, with an open and calm mind. Let go of expectations and allow yourself to simply receive. If you can, keep the hours after the session free — nothing urgent waiting on the other side.

Turn the phone fully off.

Not on silent. Off. You will feel the difference that comes from being fully in your own space.

Bring an intention, not an expectation.

If something is alive in you right now, let it be present. You don’t need to name it out loud or resolve it. And if nothing comes, that’s its own kind of readiness.

You don’t need to prepare. Only to allow.

No spiritual knowledge, no readiness, no talent for meditation. This energy meets you exactly where you are.

Tell us anything we should know.

Injury, pregnancy, medication, a recent loss, a first session, anything you would like us to know.

Understand so you can surrender

What Happens During a Kundalini Activation Astral Work Session

Read this once, and you will know what the session looks like. Understanding the flow helps the mind relax. The experience itself begins where words end.

01

You arrive.

Shoes off. A mat on the floor. We welcome you, explain the process, and answer any questions you may have. Together, we create a space of trust, safety, and presence.

02

You lie down.

Fully clothed, on your back, eyes closed. Music starts. There is no posture to hold, no breathing pattern to follow, no instruction to remember. You are allowed to simply be there.

03

We move through the room.

Light touch – a hand on the sternum, the head, the feet – and often no contact at all. Always with your consent. You can say no at any moment and nothing about the session changes.

04

Your body takes over.

Your own life force responds. Movement, heat, emotion, stillness. It lasts around an hour and a half. Then we sit up slowly, together, and there is time for sharing before anyone goes back outside.

What Kundalini Activation Astral Work Feels Like

Some people shake, roll, or move in ways they never chose.

Some people cry without knowing what for.

Some people laugh. Out loud. In the middle of everything.

Some people feel heat, current, pressure, or a weight lifting.

Some people lie completely still for an hour - and get up saying something moved anyway.

Some people fall asleep. That counts too.

There is no version of this you can fail.

Still deciding whether to come?

If you’ve read this far, the practical part is already handled. The rest is just choosing a date. Sessions run in person on tour, and online every month.

Is GIVER® Kundalini Activation Astral Work Safe?

GIVER® sessions take place in a calm, respectful environment where your boundaries and choices are always respected. Nothing is forced, and you remain in control throughout the experience. If touch is used, it is gentle and only with your consent. You can open your eyes, change position, sit up, or leave the session at any time. We remain present throughout, with time to reconnect and reflect together afterwards.

Every experience is different, and no session can be guaranteed to feel the same for everyone.

Possible Reactions During and After a Session

People may experience a range of responses, including shaking, tears, laughter, heat, tingling, tiredness, or a mild headache. What people worry about

Your First Session: Six Worries, Answered

The worry

"I'm completely new to this — and I don't know anyone."

Most group sessions include many first-time participants. Those who return do so because they are following their own unfolding, at their own pace. There are no social dynamics to navigate, no expectation to interact, and nothing you need to know beforehand – only your own experience.
The worry

"I'll be the only one who feels nothing."

Feeling little may happen in a first session, and it is not a verdict. The nervous system often needs to establish safety before it will let go. What you don’t feel on the mat frequently shows up in the days after — in sleep, in mood, in what stops bothering you.
The worry

"Everyone will look at me."

Everyone’s eyes are closed. You lie down on your mat with comfortable space around you. The music fills the room, and each person is absorbed in their own experience. Self-consciousness usually fades within the first few minutes.
The worry

"I'm not spiritual enough for this."

You don’t need a practice, a vocabulary, or a belief system. Engineers come. Sceptics come. People who have never meditated once come. Your life force does not check your credentials.
The worry

"What if I do it wrong?"

You can’t. Your only role is to lie down, breathe naturally, and allow yourself to receive. There is nothing to learn, control, or achieve during the session.
The worry

"What if something comes up I can't handle?"

You are never left alone with it. We stay in the room the entire time, we sit together afterwards, and you can pause, open your eyes, sit up, or step out at any point. The space is held so that you don’t have to hold yourself.

The work meets you where you are.

Most of the reasons people think they can’t receive this work turn out not to be reasons at all.

Menstruation

The session is safe during your period, and some people even experience it as stronger, as the body is already in a natural state of release and purification. However, everyone is different. Always listen to your body — if you are feeling physically weak or emotionally very sensitive, you may prefer to book another date.

Medication

Most prescribed medications are not an obstacle to receiving the work. Continue taking any medication as prescribed, and let us know if you feel there is anything we should be aware of.

Age, fitness, or flexibility

None of these matter. The session is received lying down, and no physical ability or previous experience is required.

Therapy

GIVER® is not therapy and is not intended to replace it. Many people find the two complement each other, each supporting a different aspect of their process.

Feeling emotionally or physically "off"

Some participants notice they feel more emotional, tired, or unsettled in the days leading up to a session. Others notice nothing at all. Whatever your experience, you don’t need to arrive feeling your best. Come exactly as you are.

The work meets you where you are, not where you think you should be.

If you’re joining from home

Preparing for an Online Session

The transmission is the same. Your room is the variable, so treat it like the venue.

Make the space undisturbable.

Door closed, people told, notifications off, laptop on a chair beside your mat and not in your hand.

Use headphones or a speaker, and give yourself floor space.

Enough room to move without hitting furniture. Dim the lights. Keep water and a blanket within reach.

Protect the hour after.

No calls, no errands. This is the part people underestimate most at home.

Never tried it, in any form?

Online is the most accessible way to begin. Your own floor. Your own room. The same Conscious Energy Transmission offered in every in-person experience.

For many, it starts here. Experience what moves within you, then join us in person when the time feels right.
